Ended up setting this website and will keep notes like these to have a log of the stuff I learn along the journey and reflect on it.
Today it took more than usual to study Thai since I had many websites open resulting in scattered attention. Next time, better to write the URLs to read on a page and quit every unnecessary application until done.
Thai men identify as “phom” and Thai women as “dichan”. The polite word for male speakers is pronounced “crap”.
During the “scattering” I have discovered that Clickbank offers courses to develop more traffic through a platform called Spark ($47/month).
Ubersuggest is good website to find data on search volumes for free (3 searches/day).
I wanted to go full vegan, but the calories were not enough and not many places offer big portions in Kosovo. I have bought some local cheese with olives but I may plan it better.
Thus far I cut out bread and pasta, I will eat those exceptionally if there is a local dish. Got plenty of tasty food recommendations involving bread.
Chicken will be my exception for eating outside.
There is no fish, omega-3 supplements may be a good idea.
Need some protein powder to compensate the veggies.
Gonna go raw with bell peppers, celery, carrots and peanut butter.
It may also be a good time to start buying beans and lentils more often.
I did not eat prior to the morning lesson of Jiu Jitsu. Good implementation, breathing comes easier. As side note, I have learned to say “Good morning” in Albanian which is pronounced “Mermerjisi”.
Got offered to do 9 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu sessions per week for free, no clue on how to handle the laundry, so I may opt for 6. Still no clue on how to handle the laundry.
Kept the phone in the locker which resulted in more focus.
People are kind in Kosovo. We drove on an old car from 1985 and the handle detached while I was getting out; the guy did not even care.
People in Kosovo are smart and have interesting lives. I have met young folks who managed to do a lot in their life comparing to people in my country and I.
Kosovan people treat foreigners so well I feel guilty admitting I am one.
I am cherishing the hill. I have found a futile activity that I will do every day to commit to something. There is a 1.5 km steep hill east of Nene Tereza, I will go there every day until I leave.
After watching several Indians explaining Web App Development, I believe I will just code in excel / python and outsource the “web conversion” to a full-stack development freelancer.
Stuff I would like to do tomorrow:
Cherish the hill + BJJ Training.
Eat well (vegan possibly). /veggies are bad and expensive in Kosovo
Read “Web Architecture 101”.
Sneak into the national library.
1 hour of Thai.
Read 30 pages of the book “Start with Why” by S. Sinek. /JUST 20.
Go further on a personal project. /Not sufficiently.
